Carly was thrilled to host a one-night event at Heidi Marshall Studio called Creating Safe Intimacy On Set. It was a blast!

Carly had a two-show day this month, in the morning teaching a workshop for the first-year students at Maggie Flanigan Studio, and in the afternoon, teaching a workshop at Shrill Collective. Thank you to all who attended!

This fall, Carly is teaching a new class at Heidi Marshall Studios! In Taking the Lead, actors will choose one main character to work on for all four weeks of class. They will choose four scenes that create the character’s arc, and practice how to create that character’s journey. October dates are open, sign up here!

This past week, Carly taught thirty students at City College about consent, communication, context, choreography, and closure. The students were receptive and excited, and it was a blast.

Carly recently intimacy coordinated for Fox’s Almost Family, starring Brittany Snow and premiering October 2nd on FOX. The episode was directed by Randy Zisk.

Carly was hired as the intimacy coordinator for #LoveMyRoomie, a web series created by Yha Mourhia Wright.  It was fantastic working with these ladies.  Links to content to come.

Carly recently completed a ten-day Intimacy Coordination Workshop in Toronto. This means she now has even more tools in her Intimacy-Coordination toolkit, and got to train with masters of this growing field. See photos below. Carly was thrilled to be the intimacy coach for George Street Playhouse’s Production of Jireh Holder’s production of Too Heavy for Your Pocket.  The production runs through May 19th, and tickets are available here.

On December 8th, Carly taught an Intimacy Direction Workshop to alums from William Esper Studio. She is now an apprentice with Intimacy Directors International, and is excited to keep teaching the students at Esper!

Carly taught an Intimacy Direction Workshop to the current students at Maggie Flanigan Studio this past weekend. She is joining the faculty of the program as their resident Intimacy Director and will be teaching the protocol to new students moving forward.

Carly and her female colleagues created a video of actresses reading excerpts from Measure for Measure, in support of sexual assault survivors and Christine Blasey Ford.
